John Brisson

Biography:

Professor Brisson is a senior faculty member in mechanical engineering who joined MIT in 1993. He served as Associate Department Head from 2016-2018. Prof. Brission has conducted research on cryogenic engineering, acoustic compression, microengines and refrigerators, and thermodynamics. In 2010 he was appointed director of the MIT/SUTD Collaboration Office and, as part of this work, developed the Institute’s curriculum, recruited and fostered faculty development.
